Advanced first aid (ofc 3)
The WorkSafeBC Advanced First Aid (OFA 3) course is a training course designed for Level 3 First Aid Attendants working at large worksites or high-risk workplaces that are more than 20 minutes from the hospital. This course will prepare you for the most common workplace injuries, including falls, cardiac emergencies, shock, bleeding, and
more. You’ll also learn how to make a transport decision, as well as packaging patients and patient care during transport.
The Advanced First Aid course is the new CSA-aligned advanced workplace first aid curriculum replacing the current Occupational First Aid Level 3 program. This new course will begin being offered in September 2024 and meets the new amendments to Part 3 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations relating to occupational first
